Thank You, PRSA Detroit Sponsors: Your Support Matters

I have never considered myself a strong fundraiser. Asking others for money makes me uncomfortable. A couple of years ago, despite my apprehension, I took on the role of securing and retaining sponsorships for our PRSA Detroit Chapter. It was so much smoother and more gratifying than I expected—probably because the companies who support our Chapter believe in what we do. The sponsors I contacted were quick to raise their hands and agree to support PRSA Detroit.
This year has been no different. Our Chapter is incredibly grateful to have strong financial backing from so many local organizations. We do not take this for granted. That’s why each year we review our sponsorship levels and brainstorm how we can add more value for our supporters, like providing free job and internship listings on our Chapter communications platforms for our Chapter, Benefactor and Patron levels. We’re also regularly engaging with our sponsors to understand what they deem as a value-add and leveraging their expertise for program speaker and panelist opportunities as well as blog posts.
I want to publicly thank the below companies for stepping up and ensuring PRSA Detroit remains financially healthy. Your support empowers us to not only operate smoothly with the technology and resources our volunteers need but also to assist local PRSSA Chapters and PR students through various initiatives.
Sponsors, thank you for your support and dedication to our industry!
Future sponsors, if you’re interested in committing to a sponsorship level please feel free to reach out any time!
