PRSA Deeetroit Basketball Networking at Little Caesars Arena

Our chapter members recently gathered to enjoy a little networking and Deeetroit basketball from the North End Club in Little Caesars Arena (LCA) as the Pistons took on the Chicago Bulls. This event has been a long time in the making and had a nice turnout with more than two dozen chapter members and guests in attendance.
The North End Club provided snacks and soft drinks included with the ticket price, as well as plenty of space for networking and seats that provided a great view of the entire court. It’s a new area within LCA and just made its debut in the 2021-22 NBA season. It was wonderful to reconnect with so many chapter members in-person for the first time since our annual meeting back in November 2022. We had a great mix of general members, committee volunteers, Board/Executive Board members, and even several past presidents joining us there.
The Pistons fell behind quite a bit against the formidable Chicago Bulls, but came back in a major way and tied it up late in the game with a score of 115-115. The game was super entertaining but a costly foul on the Pistons led to the Bulls scoring their final points and winning the game 117-115. Despite the L, the atmosphere of LCA was full of energy and everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a reminder of how special it is to be able to reconnect with friends and colleagues in person, something that I’m sure none of us take for granted after the last few years.
This was our first time going to the North End Club at LCA, and I would be on board with attending another gathering there when the opportunity arises. Go Pistons!
