Ask yourself: How is your organization preparing for Pride Month? Pride month serves as a reminder to advocate and support the rights of LGBTQIA+ people daily. There are a few ways your brand can show support and commitment to the cause in an authentic and meaningful way.
Why is Pride Month important to celebrate in the workplace?
Pride Month embraces diversity. The workplace is vital to embrace the community as it creates a work environment that is supportive and welcoming. Creating a healthy work environment takes understanding. It is important as brands to build a workplace culture that leaves employees feeling supported and heard.
Ways to celebrate Pride Month
Use your platform to advocate
Allyship and support require brands to put forth effort into the cause. As a brand, using your platform to advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community is a great way to educate and empower the community. Ways to authentically do this include individually highlighting employees' unique experiences, offering resources and education through social channels and engaging with your community.
Partner with LGBTQIA+ organizations
Partnership matters. By offering support to the community through fundraising and donations, your company can make a direct impact to lift up LGBTQIA+ organizations. To be true advocates, your brand must take those extra steps to push for change.

Celebrate Pride Month every day
One month isn’t enough – celebrate Pride every day. Your brand should be committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community all year round. One way your brand can do this is by pushing to change policies to better support your employees. Change can’t be made in a month. To truly make an impact, your brand should offer tangible support that fights legislation and accelerates change.
Your brand must show action all year round to honor Pride in a deeper, more meaningful way.
